Benefits Terms and conditions

At Beagle Street we offer our customers a number of added value benefits to help them in life and to support their loved ones after death.  You can find the full terms and conditions of these benefits here.

1. Free Simple Will Service

1.1  These terms govern the use of the Beagle Street Free Simple Will Service and by using the service, You agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

1.2  To be eligible for the Free Will offer, participants must purchase a life insurance policy with Beagle Street (“Customer(s)”). This offer is open to UK residents only.

1.3  Customers purchasing a policy will be eligible for a Free Simple Will (as defined below) if their policy is active, paid up to date and Beagle Street have not been instructed to cancel it. Customers purchasing a joint policy will be eligible for one Free Simple Will or a Joint Mirror Will (as defined below).

1.4  A Simple Will is a Will that disposes of the Customer’s estate to a maximum of six beneficiaries without the use of trusts or tax planning.

1.5  A Joint Mirror Will is a joint Simple Will that disposes of a couple’s estate to the same beneficiaries.

1.6  All arrangements for the Free Simple Will will be between the Customer and the Provider (as defined below). Beagle Street accepts no responsibility or liability for the actions of the Provider in the carrying out of the provision of the Free Will offer and/or for the Free Simple Will.

1.7  Any additional costs for more complex wills not covered by this offer and/or additional services that the Customer may require shall be charged to the Customer by the Provider. The Provider will keep the Customer appropriately informed as to the likely costs of a complex will or additional services throughout the process.

1.8  The Free Simple Will will be provided by one of the following firms (depending on the Customer’s country of residence) however Beagle Street reserves the right to appoint alternative Providers at any time:

1.9 Farewill LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (registration number 09701947) who have their registered office at 27 Downham Road, London, N1 5AA.

1.10  Gildeas Limited, registered in Scotland (registration number SC365972) who have their registered office at 48 St Vincent Street, Glasgow, Scotland, G2 5TS for Scotland;

1.11  Stewarts Solicitors, registered in Northern Ireland (registration number NI603484) who have their registered office at Telford House, 3-4 Donegall Quay, Belfast, Antrim, BT1 3EA for Northern Ireland; (together the “Providers”)

1.12  This offer is non-transferable; therefore the Will must be made by the Customer(s) alone.

1.13  All information necessary for the completion of the Free Simple Will needs to be given to the Provider by the Customer within 6 calendar months of instructing the Provider to produce the Free Simple Will in accordance with this offer.

1.14  Each eligible Customer shall only be entitled to one Free Simple Will or Mirrored Will per policy.

1.15  These terms and conditions are governed by English law.

1.16  Beagle Street reserves the right to amend or withdraw this offer at any time. Any such amendments will be published on www.beaglestreet.com.

1.17  Please be aware that Beagle Street reserves the right to recover the full cost of the Free Will if the Policy is cancelled within six months of taking up this offer.

2. Trusts

2.1. Whilst the trust is potentially capable of achieving the effects described in the trust form or in any accompanying material provided by us, FAFSL Limited cannot accept responsibility for the use of any trust form as its suitability depends upon the policyholder’s individual circumstances.

2.2  Before using any trust form or accompanying material, the policyholder should take independent legal advice.

2.3  The policyholder is responsible for ensuring that the trust form is completed accurately and executed correctly.

2.4  Beagle Street cannot accept responsibility for loss, however caused, suffered by any person who has acted or refrained from acting as a result of any trust form provided or any accompanying material published in or in conjunction with any trust form.

2.5  Policies that are assigned as a security on a loan (e.g. a mortgage) cannot be put in trust.

2.6  Our trust form is intended for use where there is one policyholder and one policy. It is not suitable for joint policyholders.

3. Free Legal Advice

3.1   For legal advice, including on all your end-of-life matters, call us on 0800 980 8801. Our contact centre is open 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm on Saturdays.

3.2   We’ll arrange for one of our experienced legal advisors at RAC Legal Services to call you. They will be able to advise on any private legal matter in the UK.

3.3  To be eligible for the Free Legal Advice, you need to have an active Beagle Street Life Insurance policy and be a UK resident

3.4 An hour of free legal advice will be provided. This hour can be split over multiple calls.

3.5  If you need additional support following your advice, RAC Legal Service can put you in touch with an expert in the field of your query for a fee which they will agree with you separately before progressing.

3.6  The legal advice is provided by RAC Legal Services, so Beagle Street aren’t responsible for it. If you have any questions or complaints about the legal advice you should contact RAC Legal Services.
